Input Solicited for 76th (2011) North American Conference

The Program Committee for the North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference invites and encourages interested persons and parties to submit ideas for the 76th Conference, to be held March 14-19, 2011, at the Westin Crown Center Hotel, in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Program Committee welcomes recommendations for workshops and Special Session topics, cochairs and presenters, and plenary session keynote speakers.

"Input from the professional conservation community has always driven the agenda of this conference," said Dick McCabe, Wildlife Management Institute (WMI) Vice President and chairman of the Program Committee. "Furthermore, the ?North American' format and forum emphasis have been adjusted twice in the recent past as a result of participant recommendations. This annual conference will continue to be receptive to agenda and operational suggestions. It is, after all, a service event for the community."

The Program Committee meets in early May to review all ideas and recommendations. It will accept input until April 23rd, sent to rmccabe@wildlifemgt.org.

McCabe also noted:? "Next year, 2011 is the centennial anniversary of WMI. One of the more important and enduring professional contributions the Institute has made during its 100-year history is the administration of the North American. Every year, our folks have worked very hard and take great pride in making this meeting a success for the individuals, agencies and organization that attend. At the 76th Conference, we will have plenty to celebrate."
