WMI is available to conduct reviews of wildlife and natural resource agency programs and functions. At agencies' request, WMI has completed more than 70 reviews of fish and wildlife programs in more than 40 states and four provinces.

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Cooperative Research Units (CRUs) are partnerships between the USGS, universities, state natural resource agencies, and the Wildlife Management Institute.

WMI streamlines conservation efforts by handling the often complex administrative and financial aspects of grant management, allowing our partners to concentrate on critical conservation, scientific research, and on-the-ground habitat improvements

WMI's Limited Term Employee (LTE) program allows us to employ a nationwide, diverse range of conservation specialists, including biologists, fisheries technicians, grassland managers, and foresters.
