Jodi Stemler to Serve as New ONB Editor

We would like to extend our apologies to Outdoor News Bulletin readers for missing our January edition as we transitioned from the longtime leadership of editor, Richard McCabe. McCabe, who retired in January, led the production of the ONB for eleven years as part of his many tasks with the Wildlife Management Institute. Jodi Stemler, who has written for the publication for the last five years, will be the new editor of the ONB, starting with this edition.

Stemler has a degree in wildlife management from Rutgers University and has worked in the conservation policy and communications arena for nearly twenty years. Her career includes work with the National Wildlife Federation managing a conservation funding legislative campaign and as Director of Communications for the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation. After her daughter was born in 2005, Stemler launched her own business that has included clients such as Field&Stream magazine, the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership, the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies and others. She lives outside of Denver, CO with her husband and now 6-year-old daughter. Their family loves to spend time outdoors fishing, upland bird hunting and hiking.
