Tori stepped into the Grants Management Specialist role with Wildlife Management Institute in July 2025. Here, Tori supports project and account administration for multiple Federal grants programs. She helps track project progress, reports, deliverables and payments. She also helps administer our Partner-Based Employee program.
Prior to WMI, Tori was a certified Grants Management Specialist for the US Forest Service- Region 9 Office of Grants and Agreements. Administering grants and agreements across the eastern US for three years, she predominantly supported the Monongahela National Forest. Before taking the administrative route with grants, she was fortunate to work in various programmatic nonprofit roles supporting western conservation projects and efforts. While finishing her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana, Tori worked as Wild Montana’s Wilderness Fellow advocating for Montana’s public lands. Her best experiences with wildlife though can be recalled from her four trail crew seasons on the Bitterroot National Forest.
Tori now lives in Upper Michigan with her family.
