The charge of this committee is to:
- Recommend to the State Directors the National Conservation Needs (NCNs) to be used in the solicitation and selection of grants under the Multistate Conservation Grant Program (MSCGP) later in the year.
- Review submitted Letters of Intent and select the most competitive to invite for full proposals.
- Recommend to the State Directors the MSCGP proposals that are funded by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS). During the Association’s Annual meeting, the State Directors approve the Association’s “priority list,” which is due to USFWS’ Division of Federal Assistance by October 1 of each year.
