Keynoters Set for 75th North American Conference

Three keynoters will be featured at the Opening Session of the 75th North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference, on Wednesday morning, March 24, at the Milwaukee Hilton City Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As is tradition at this annual international meeting of leading professional natural resource managers, the Wildlife Management Institute (WMI) President, Steve Williams, will provide the welcome and opening remarks. WMI has administered the?North American conference?since its inception in 1936.

Sam Hamilton, Director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, will be the second keynote speaker. His remarks will address the activities of and outlook for the Service in relation to the?conference theme, "Honing Conservation Imperatives: Insights and Foresights."

Curt Meine, biologist, conservationist,?Senior Fellow of the Aldo Leopold Foundation and Leopold's foremost biographer, will be the third keynoter. He will examine the role of the North American conference in relation to the continent's storied and on-going conservation movement.
