Colorado Conservation to be Celebrated at the North American

Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW), along with their local and national conservation partners, will host the Colorado Conservation Reception at the upcoming North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference. Scheduled for Thursday, March 13, from 6:30 - 8:00pm, at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Denver, the event will celebrate the many dedicated and passionate organizations whose tireless efforts have made the natural resources of Colorado renowned throughout North America.

The event will be open to all registered North American Conference attendees and will feature a brief presentation by CPW Director Bob Broscheid who will highlight the organizations and partnership efforts that work to conserve Colorado's natural heritage. Joining Director Broscheid on stage will be representatives of the groups that have sponsored the reception, including: Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Colorado Wildlife Federation, Ducks Unlimited, Great Outdoors Colorado, High Lonesome Ranch, Mule Deer Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, Pheasants Forever, Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership, and Trout Unlimited.

This is the first time that the host agency and its conservation partners have sponsored a reception at the North American and is only one of two receptions during the conference week that is open to ALL registered attendees.
