Negotiations were recently completed for the 79^th North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference to be held March 11-15, 2014, at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel in Denver, Colorado.

The North American Conference was last held in Denver in 1990. "It had the highest attendance in the history of the event," noted Dick McCabe of the Wildlife Management Institute and current Conference Program Committee Chair. "As was the case more than 20 years ago, Denver and Colorado have a great many attractions at that time of year, and the Sheraton is ideally suited to accommodate the numerous meetings and functions at the conference."

The 79^th North American in Denver will be preceded by the 76^th from March 14 to 19, 2011 at the Westin Crown Center Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri, the 77^th from March 12 to 17, 2012 at the Hilton Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia, and the 78^th from March 24 to 29, 2013 at the Marriott Gateway Hotel in Arlington, Virginia.
