Instream Flow Workshop Presentation Available Online
Presentations and transcripts from discussions during the Flow 2015 conference are now available online. Flow 2015, held in April by the Instream Flow Council, featured two days of technical presentations focused on managing water resources. This was the third international workshop targeted toward agencies and non-profit organizations that are actively engaged in conserving rivers and lakes and managing sustainable water levels to protect ecological integrity. Sessions during the workshop focused on the tools, strategies and issues used by federal regulatory agencies, state and provincial fish and wildlife agencies, and non-governmental agencies and the private sector. Other discussions focused on strategies by industry to improve river health as well as new methods being used in instream flow management. Each presenter's talk is available on the Instream Flow Council's website, as are transcripts capturing the dialogue that was held in each room following the presentations.
