NRCS Announces 2022 Funding Opportunity for Conservation Programs

November 2021 Edition - Volume 75, Issue 11

On October 21, the Natural Resources Conservation Service announced the availability of financial assistance in FY 2022 for key conservation programs including the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP), Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP), and Agricultural Management Assistance (AMA) program. Applications can be submitted for the programs throughout the year, but there are state-specific ranking dates.

“NRCS conservation programs are good for natural resources and for your operation’s bottom line,” said NRCS Chief Terry Cosby. “Whether this is your first time working with NRCS or you want to take conservation to the next level on your land, we encourage you to contact your local NRCS field office to learn more.”
